Hey Everyone,

I know I haven't been around much in the last 9 months or more.

I've had soo many sad and long periods of crying fits to deal with. Mostly in August of last year till about now, I have watched one family die to another one being given a chance to live a life he lost 6 years ago.

However as sad as I am, and how hopeless these last few months have been. I've tried on countless times to write again. Mostly to show myself not others that I can move on and do so.

Without reason and now without much support I am going to try once again to post more offen. I may not be posting every week but I will try to post at least a few times each month.

Well I guess for now I better get back to work, and ready that next post that appears to be all important post that everyone so ready to read.

Do not panic. This is a test, this is only a test. Please keep your hands and feet inside the blog until it comes to a complete stop.

Some of you noticed that the blogroll to the right indicated that there is a "New!" post on the Yoda blog. Actually, I was just editing the final post, which I've been wanting to do for a while. I wanted to make it less ponderous, less ambitious, less... what's that word I'm looking for?... oh yeah, stupid. Seriously, that final post had to be the stupidest I ever wrote for the Yoda blog. Even so, it's still not the stupidest Yoda post I ever wrote. That honor would go to the post I did for The Last Gladiator Standing blog (sorry, Jon).

So anyway, all I did was cut out the stupidest parts of the post and cut in a post from a few days before. Then I deleted that older post. So now Master Yoda's Blog has one fewer posts. Any new Yoda posts will be on the As The Force Turns blog, which JJ announced below. The Yoda posts won't be very regular or very often, but that's where they will be.

By the way, I very briefly returned to character blogging last year (just not a Star Wars character). I never told anyone, because I didn't stick with it. But you might want to check it out here.

Big –coming out of retirement-news!

Greetings all.

I was going to wait until after Labor Day to post this announcement, but the news is just too big!

Yup. The rumors are true. After a little over a year in hiatus, Jawa Juice is coming back to the blog-o-sphere. I wasn’t sure if I was going to do it, but after a while, the little voices in my head kept pestering me….”come on out and play…” JJ is just in my blood, I guess and there are still stories to be told.

So I decided to bring him out of retirement.

But…he’s not the only one coming out of retirement. In fact, J.J. may be returning but he won’t be returning to his old site. Instead a new site has been created where not one…not two…but three old, once retired bloggers will be returning.

You heard me right! Along with myself, Rebecca who voices the whimsical, free-form force ghost, Qui-Gon will be coming along for the ride. (Ya can’t have J.J. without Qui-Gon, now can ya?)

But that’s not all…

In addition to us, one other name will be coming back to the fold, if only from time to time…

Bill Johnson…aka Master Yoda!!!

You heard me right. The three of us will be sharing a blog and writing satirical Star Wars stories featuring our spoofed characters we’ve breathed life into during the hay days of SW blogging.

But don’t look for us to write just as our usual characters. The three of us decided we wanted to return but didn’t want the pressures of writing all the time or stuck as our well known characters. Thus this community blog. With three of us periodically writing in it, there is a lesser need for any one of us to carry the load. And with a myriad of characters to write as, hopefully we won’t get burnt out too quickly.

(We almost roped in a fourth old timer but it looks like he’s decided to return by himself.

I know that The Nanny and the supervisor have got new speeders and enjoy riding long distances together.

And I know that she has a bit of a crush on the ole boy.

Those things I can handle , as long as it doesnt Affect her work around the place here.

But I do believe that things are getting out of hand.

It has gotten to the point of becomming an addiction. Now i will admit her work has not slacked off.

But you cannot tell me it hasn't affected her.

I mean look at the proof !!

I just want to say that I am still around, kind of.

I know I haven't updated my Noel blog (or any other one for that matter) for quit some time now. I have been pretty busy, and now it will only be worse. You see my Husband and I are trying to sell our house. I spent weeks cleaning, fixing, and getting it ready to sell.

At least now with it on the market I can rest a little. Crazy thing is it has been on the market of all of three days (it was put on Monday), and two people have seen it all ready. One person already put a bid on it yesterday (Wednesday), and we counter offered today (Thursday). The second person has looked at it twice. Tomorrow (being Friday) we have two new people looking at it. Also on Saturday the person who put a bid on it is going to come back with her dad so he can see it. I hope he approves of the house.

In a way this is really exciting, but at the same time frustrating. You see with all the showing and the cleaning up that come with it. We have also needed to look at houses our self. And need to go see someone and get pre-approved for a mortgage.

We got pre-approved for a mortgage, but have yet seen a house we truly love. They either are missing something we really want, need too much work, or are way to much, and a couple smell pretty funky. We do have an appointment on Tuesday to see a couple other houses. Both have great potential and have almost everything we want. I hope one of these two is our dream home.

It's not that I am sick of looking at the houses. In fact it is a lot of fun. I just thought I had more time to search for a perfect house.I mean some houses sit there for weeks, even months, with no interest. And we have an offer in three days. In a way I hope this girls father likes the house and they accept the counter offer. But I did hope for more time.

Ahhh well... I can't complain.

But anyway, that is the main reason I haven't been updating my blog(s) for some time. But maybe once I move and am settled into my new house I will continue on.

Jon the Intergalactic Gladiator: Introduction

Hello my name is Jon, I am a gladiator in the Intergalactic Gladiating Entertainment (Formerly the Intergalactic Gladiating Federation) where you may have seen me competing against the likes of Octopus Prime and Lord EyeBorg. When not competing, you can probably find me saving the galaxy once again for Queen Galacta or avoiding monkeyboys who want to be my sidekick.

OK, who am I really?
My name is Jon, I live in Chicago, Illinois, USA. I have a wife and a kid, another kid on the way, and a dog.

Way back when, I saw Yoda's blog and decided to start one myself. I used to joke with my friends that being and Intergalactic Gladiator was my dream job, so I took that idea and went with it.

Using that as a springboard, I have the opportunity to write about whatever I want. I get to poke fun at science fiction and being an action hero, but I've also riffed on the Divine Comedy and Of Mice and Men. I've met and interacted with characters from Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel, DC Comics, Aliens, and quite a few other places.

On top of that, I've developed my own bunch of characers and locations including Planet Hacknor, Queen Galacta, J'onn Sinew Nu, Jo Jo the Monkeyboy (Jr and Sr!), and so much more.

So that's me in a nutshell. Please feel free to stop by my blog and give it a read. In fact, go ahead and read all of the the archives. There will be a quiz later.

Thank you for having me as a member in this blog.

Here is just a qick summary of who I am.

My name is Jedi Master (Captain) Adana Jahura. My home is the Jedi Temple on Coruscant when I am not out in the field with my squads. I do have a Padawan who has chosen a path to self destruction and all my attempts to stop her have failed so far.

I do have a few hobbies for which I have little time due to the war but if I do I like to read, watch good movies, go dancing (something of which the council does not look with a kind eye), and go for long relaxing walks. Good humor mixed with the right dose of sarcasm is always welcome. Openess and acceptence to me are important as well as loyalty - but not blindly - combined with a healthy portion of awareness.

Otherwise my life is quite simple and I am content with who I am. If you like to ask me anything go ahead.

My name is Jedi Knight Phobia Deimos and my home is in the Jedi temple on Coruscant. I just recently ended up with a padawan, her name is Belda Pinik When I'm not busy fending off trouble(hey trouble finds me, I don't look for it) I help out whenreever i am needed. I have one cat, Lisette, a sweet little darling who has been with me since I was a padawan; and dog who I found on a mission. Her name is Odi.

My hobbies range from the normal to the utterly bizzare.. but a few off the top of my head.. Reading, dancing, writing, martial arts training.. oh yes and beating Anakin at podracing or whatever the vehicle of choice is with an engine*giggles* ( I kid seriously I adore Anakin to death.. he's like a brother to me)

My favroite game is Go.. second favroite is Chess.. Godfrey taught me the basics of Go and I got hooked.

I'm kind of a cynic but I can outprank the best of them.. ( Just ask Anakin and Obi Wan.. two words for ya... green hair) Good humor with a sense of sarcasm is always good. I do have a tendancy to not follow the rules at times, espically when put under the blaster.I do what needs to be done to complete the mission and to achieve results where needed. My past.. it's a tangled web.. so to keep this post short.. if you want to know, just ask me.
